My all time favorite band. Not only does their music slap but the lore & the characters are just as fun (I <3 u 2D). I even cosplayed as Noodle once!! I saw them live in 2022 n I dont have a single video of the concert where Im not singing along like a dork. I think I was meant to have an emo phase in middle school but my friends were into kpop at the time so I had an artifically induced kpop phase instead. Had I discovered teenagers as a 12y/o I wouldve become unstoppable. Since going against my true nature was just delaying the inevitable, I'm obsessed with them NOW. Banger after banger after banger. do u remember that one carl wheezer cover of slow dancing in the dark? well the guy who made it is a ridiculously good musician. He has some covers of pop songs on his youtube channel that u might have heard before (they all slap btw) but his original music is also just incredible. His sound is super varied and somehow it's always everything I love in music rolled into one song. He's wayyy too underrated for how good he is.fav song: it takes two to tango, so what's that guy doing here?

they have a special place in my heart.. the very first time I listened to them it was like something clicked immediately. I really really REALLY hope I get to see them live one day. And it's genuinely one of the best things I've EVER heard. it tells the story of johnny & joel who are deeply in love w each other but they want very different things in life. will their love persevere? it was HARD to pick a favorite gorillaz album..... I love every single one of them with my entire heart. But after thinking about it for a while I think I have to go with their debut album. Plus it's the first CD I ever bought so it's extra special to me.fav song: 5/4
