Casa Bonita - definitely the south park episode of all time. Like if you're gonna show an episode to someone who has never seen south park before, this is the one. This is what the show is all about.
The list - the girls make a list ranking the boys from cutest to ugliest. Lots of iconic quotes here. The council of girls KILLS ME every time. 100/10.
South park is gay! - as a gay, a substantial portion of my vocabulary comes from this episode I'm afraid.
Woodland critter christmas - extremely dark Christmas special that I accidentally saw on TV at age 5 and it traumatized me.
Raisins - Stan gets dumped and becomes goth. Butters falls in love with a hooters Raisins waitress
Follow that egg - stan and kyle invent gay rights in this one. I am.not exaggerating. In south park canon, gay marriage is only legal in the state of colorado thanks to stan and kyle THANK YOU KINGS XX
Butters' very own episode - a view into Butters’ horrendously tragic life. You really can't go wrong with an episode focused on Butters.
Fish sticks - 22 minutes of non-stop Kanye West slander. And from before he was a naz¡ as well. Also this is a Jimmy episode so you know it's good.
Cartman sucks - Butters gets sent to pray the gay away camp. When I first watched this episode I was 13 and delirious with a 40°C fever and it made me cry so much I dehydrated and passed out.
The losing edge - the kids desperately try to lose a baseball match but unfortunately they're too good and keep winning.
Tweek X craig - tweek and craig are turned gay with the power of YAOI FANART!!!!!! At one point Stan drops a line that makes me ascend: "If it happened to tweek and craig, could it happen to all of us?" followed by a few seconds of silence. THEY KNOW!!!!!!! MATT AND TREY WHAT HAVE YOU SEEN?????? Do you think they have ao3. Do you think they know what omegaverse is
Guitar queero - stan and kyle become famous playing guitar hero but they split up and there's drama and drugs like in every good famous duo.
Le petit tourette - Cartman pretends to have tourette's to get away with saying whatever he wants. The Tourette Association of America actually said the episode was pretty well researched and gave an accurate depiction of tourette's.
The coon + superhero trilogy - the craziest lore drop in the entire series and possibly Cartman at his funniest. Required watching before the poor kid.
The poor kid - MY NUMBER 1 FAVORITE EPISODE!!!!!!! Kenny and his siblings are put into the foster system. And I'm not afraid to admit I've cried watching this. If by the end of this episode Kenny isn't your favorite character in the whole show I'm convinced you aren't human.
Breast cancer show ever - Cartman finally gets his ass handed to him by Wendy. An act of divine justice.
Put it down - tons of cute moments between tweek and craig. ICONIC cartman lines that I quote all the time. Very sweet message. Not one but TWO songs that slap. What had a bigger cultural impact? The declaration of independence or the scene where craig tells tweek to go home and make cupcakes? Top tier episode for sure.
Marjorine - rare "the kids acting like actual kids" episode. They dress butters up like a girl to sneak him into the girls sleepover.
It's a Jersey thing - New Jersey spreads to the rest of the US like a disease. They tear my queen Snooki to shreds in this one but even she thought her depiction was really funny.
The jeffersons - they make fun of Michael Jackson which im indifferent to but Kenny talks in this one so that immediately makes it a good episode.
I should have never gone ziplining - controversial choice, apparently you either love it or hate it. It’s a parody of that I shouldn't be alive show, I've never seen it but this episode is still hilarious to me.
Raising the bar - Cartman becomes the new Honey Boo Boo. So obviously they have to compete.
Make love not warcraft - some guy keeps killing the boys in world of warcraft so they lock in and try to defeat him. Blizzard actually collaborated to make the machinima used in the episode! (extremely rare blizzard w)
Good times with weapons - shonen anime parody. Not much else to say except it's really funny.
Christian rock hard - Cartman, Butters and Tolkien start a Christian rock band to try and get a platinum album.
Butterballs - Stan makes an anti-bullying music video. I later found out this was about the kony2012 guy? This is one of those episodes where you think they’re exaggerating but no it actually happened exactly like that.
Ginger kids - this is where the "gingers don't have souls" joke comes from.
Trapped in the closet - scientology.
Awesome-o - Cartman pretends to be a robot to mess with Butters, backfires immediately.
South Park is an animated TV show created in 1997 by Trey Parker and Matt Stone (pictured on the right) yadda yadda whatever. This stupid fucking cartoon took over my life in my most formative teenage years and, for better or for worse, is responsible for the person I am today. It also made me meet a ton of awesome people and I'm really grateful for that. So I thought I'd honor it with a web shrine.
Blorbo from my shows
Kenny is my absolute favorite character. Not just from south park but like, in general. I feel very maternal towards him. I just really really love characters who choose kindness above all else, even when they've lived terrible lives in terrible environments. He's the most selfless person in the whole town and the heart of the group. His friends take him for granted a lot of the time but he loves them so much he would (and has, on MANY occasions) died for them. Building a fortune out of nothing and inventing time travel just to get your childhood friend group back together? Yeah I get it 1000% Kenny I'd do the
exact same thing he’s just like me fr. And his relationship with his younger sister? EASILY the most wholesome part of the show. I have so much to say and so little space ohhhh ohhhhhhg my godddd my shaylaaaa my shaylaaaa
